What is puberty?
Puberty, age when at animals gonads ripen, and they become capable to bring forth offspring.
With approach of puberty terminates formation of genitals (women have ovaries, uterus, fallopian pipes, testicles — at men).
At the woman begin an ovulation and periods, and she receives ability to become pregnant. Under the influence of hormone of gonads the certain mental and physiological phenomena peculiar to the mature person appear (sexual desire, etc.).
Puberty usually coincides with identification of secondary sexual characteristics.
At women increase chest glands, hair on a pubis and in axillary hollows, at men as well on a face (moustaches and a beard) appear and, besides
the voice grows coarse. Puberty in different climate and under different living conditions comes variously, for example in the south in a hot belt earlier, in the north later, at citizens and the so-called "civilized" people earlier, than at villagers and primitive tribes; on average — between 13 — 14 years. Puberty does not indicate
a full maturity of an organism, the last comes to an end mostly about 22 and even 25 years. At puberty and at the very beginning of puberty sex life is harmful as it slows down development of an organism and can exhaust it.
At some pathological (painful) phenomena in internal secretion happen cases of premature approach of puberty, for example children have 8 — 7 years and even more young.
